Citation
Abstract apanese Oceanographic Data Center (JODC) has been taking charge of the IOC depository center for publications in Japan since 1973. As part of its services to Member States, the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC) has agreed to supply one officially designated IOC Depository Center in each country with copies of its publications and main documentation. This Depository Center ought to be an active library and documentation centre of a leading research institute, or university department, specialized in marine sciences, and readily accessible to users from other academic and governmental institutions. These Depository Centers are placed on a free distribution list and, in turn, accept a number of responsibilities: * to catalogue acquisitions; * to disseminate this information to the scientific community in their respective countries; * generally to ensure access to these records; * to respond, as far as possible, to requests for the aforementioned publications and documentation from the scientific community, as well as members of the general public, in their respective countries. We have classified the publications received from IOC and the related International Organizations as shown below. The column of “received” in each publication is indicated the date when JODC received the original copy. The digital file of each publication is also available if it was prepared. In order to see those digital files, you will be requested software such as Acrobat Reader and/or MS-word. Please note that some digital files may include error since it has digitalized from the original copy. Don’t allow to use all documents for commercial purpose without notice.
