The Celtic Seas Partnership was an international project led by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) and part funded by LIFE+, the EU’s funding instrument for the environment.
One of the objectives was to improve the availability of information and resources for the Celtic Seas to aid implementation of the EU’s Marine Strategy Framework Directive.
To fulfil this objective, the Celtic Seas Information Portal was developed to provide access to data and documents about the marine environment of the Celtic Seas.
