Abstract
ePIC (electronic Publication Information Center) is the official repository for publications and presentations of Alfred Wegener Institute Helmholtz Centre for Polar and Marine Research (AWI), a non-profit federally funded research center of Helmholtz Association in Germany. ePIC offers metadata information to every item, and, when available, related documents/archives and supplementary information (links to data archived in PANGAEA and associated research platform and campaign information. In the context of the Open Archives Inititative , the repository ePIC is an OAI-PMH compliant data provider which uses EPRINTS as software framework.
