BMC Ecology and Evolution is an open access, peer-reviewed journal that considers articles on all aspects of evolution and ecology, including, but not limited to, molecular and non-molecular evolution, population genetics and phylogenetics, conservation genetics, palaeontology, behavioral and population ecology, macroecology, ecological and evolutionary developmental biology and biodiversity (including environmental DNA).
