Abstract
CERU is part of the Environmental Modelling and Observation research cluster within the Department of Geography at UCL and carries out research and consultancy relating to coastal and estuarine processes, modelling and management. Our research has encompassed locations as diverse as eastern Taiwan, central America and the south Pacific, although we are currently working mainly on the east and northwest coasts of the UK and on the west coast of Ireland. Recent funders of our research include Crown Estate, DEFRA, English Heritage, NERC, EPSRC, Environment Agency, Harwich Haven Authority, and the Tyndall Centre.
