Abstract
The Global Precipitation Climatology Centre (GPCC): operated by DWD under the auspices of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO).
The Global Precipitation Climatology Centre (GPCC) provides global precipitation analyses for monitoring and research of the earth's climate. The centre is a German contribution to the World Climate Research Programme (WCRP) and the Global Climate Observing System (GCOS).
The GPCC provides unrestricted access to its gridded monthly and daily precipitation data sets for climate monitoring purposes and related research. All users are requested to refer to the GPCC and the product specific DOI (Digital Object Identifier) reference as provided with the products.
