Abstract Since its establishment in 1964, the National Oceanographic Information Center Oceanic Library (Documentation Library) has been focusing on the construction of marine professional books and literature resources, and has become a representative comprehensive professional marine science library in China, holding Chinese and foreign marine professional literature materials. More abundant. The current collection resources include: Chinese books more than 13,000 volumes, Western books more than 14,000 volumes, Japanese books more than 2,400 volumes, Russian books more than 4,800 volumes, and Western special literature 23,000 volumes There are more than 1,000 volumes, nearly 500 standard, more than 1,000 editions, more than 45,000 volumes of periodicals, and more than 1,800 collections. The library has been building a marine literature database since 1984. It has established a large-scale and practical marine literature retrieval system in both Chinese and foreign languages ​​through a combination of self-building and introduction. "He Fisheries Digest" is the first database CD-ROM in China. In order to promote the construction of the marine digital library, the Marine Library of the National Oceanic Information Center builds a marine document resource collection, processing and sharing service platform, integrates commercial document resources, self-built characteristic digital document resources and open resources, and creates the most authoritative marine digital document in the bureau The service platform has customized electronic resources such as Wanfang Chinese Database, Foreign Language Periodicals Full-text Database, VIP Chinese Periodicals Full-text Database, Digital Books, etc., using the Internet to provide comprehensive and efficient document sharing services for all units of the State Oceanic Administration. The Ocean Library actively strengthens domestic and international maritime documentation cooperation to realize resource sharing. In China, the museum took the lead in establishing the National Marine Document Information Coordination Committee in the 1990s. Internationally, the library specifically fulfills the responsibilities and obligations of the United Nations Water Science and Fisheries Information System (ASFIS) China National Center. A full member of the Association of Information Centers (IAMSLIC). The Marine Library has strong strength in marine literature information services. In 1997, the National Oceanic Information Center was officially approved by the former National Science and Technology Commission as a national first-level scientific and technological novelty search unit, providing scientific and technological novelty search services in the marine and environmental fields nationwide. The Marine Library is responsible for the editing and publishing of publications such as "Marine Bulletin", "Marine Science Bulletin", and "Marine Information". The Marine Library is an important place for readers to obtain marine scientific and technological literature information. Our library has always had a good service tradition.
