Abstract The FluxEngine is an open-source software toolbox for calculating atmosphere-ocean gas fluxes. The toolbox allows users to easily generate global and regional air-sea carbon dioxide flux data from model, in situ and Earth Observation data, and its air-sea gas flux calculation is user configurable. Whilst devloped for carbon dioxide, much of the toolbox is applicable to other gases ans the open-source nature of the toolbox enables it to be easily extended. Please note that the FluxEngine is a beta version and see the disclaimer at the bottom of this page.
