Abstract
The Fish Information System or VIS for short is a database in which we collect and make available as much data as possible about fish, fish stocks, fish pollutants and fish indices in Flanders.
Via VIS you can, for example, ask which fish species are present in a certain watercourse, whether the eels in your area are contaminated with heavy metals or what length the roach caught on a certain watercourse are.
Would you like more information about how the reports work? Click on the desired report under "help with reports" and you will receive the necessary information in a PDF document. Use of the data and reports from VIS non-scientific publications (reports, press, opinions , ...) is permitted provided a clear statement of the project from which they come and of the ownerof the data. Before using the data and reports for scientific publications , you should contact the contact person listed for the project.
