The IODE-IOC is hosting the OceanDocs electronic repository, which encompasses increased oceanographic scientific information that will support research, help keep latent information latent, and serve as historical background for more accurate research.
The SPINCAM project is using a space in the OceanDocs repository to host documents related to ICAM indicators, therefore, professionals from the member countries of the project have been trained through a course: Development and management of electronic repositories, in order to create a national repository and keep it updated with information related to indicators of coastal marine management (ICAM).
Thanks to the training provided by the SPINCAM project (South Pacific Information and Data Network for the Support of Integrated Coastal Area Management), the professionals of Peru, with the acquired knowledge, implemented the electronic repository using OceanDocs from the SPINCAM project and to the Hydrography and Navigation Department.
