Abstract
This product was created to support decision-making during the approach to national ports. It anticipates in 5 days the wave conditions (significant height, period and predominant direction of the ripple), weather (surface wind, cloudiness, precipitation and fog) and tide forecasts and also sunrise and sunset ephemeris.
The meteorological information is obtained from the ECMWF, ALADIN and AROME models, provided by the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere, as part of collaboration with IH.
